For Coeliac Awareness Week 2014 here in the UK, I’ve decided to share my favourite UK based gluten-free blogs along with a couple of their best posts. As a dietitian who has multiple family members with coeliac disease, I’ve always been interested in gluten free baking, trying out different recipes and experimenting with gluten free flours. These blogs are a great source of inspiration and advice that can really help people with coeliac disease on their gluten free journey.
Rosie (Gluten Free Rosie) is a current dietitian-in-training who was diagnosed with coeliac disease in her early teens. Running a very successful gluten-free supper club in London (which I hope one day to attend), she has a great blog full of delicious gluten free recipes and current nutrition topics that I always enjoy reading. While not a typical ‘blog’ as such, GFree Radio is DEFINITELY worth checking out if you have coeliac diesease or follow a gluten free diet. Launched after the 2013 Allergy Show in London, GFree Radio is the worlds first and only radio station that is solely dedicated to gluten free foods, research, advice. If its gluten related then chances are it’ll be on Peter’s show which runs weekly. Website, Twitter, Listen now, Facebook
I’ve been following these guys on social media awaiting the launch of their website http://www.glutenfreeoccasions.org/ which is due next month.
