For Coeliac Awareness Week 2014 in the UK, I’ve decided to share my favourite gluten-free blogs along with a couple of their posts. I’ve already posted the UK-based blogs, the USA blogs and now it’s turn for the Aussie gluten free blogs I enjoy. As a dietitian who has multiple family members with coeliac disease, I’ve always been interested in gluten free baking, trying out different recipes and experimenting with gluten free flours. These blogs are a great source of inspiration and advice that can really help people with coeliac disease on their gluten free journey.
Jas was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease two weeks before Christmas 7 years ago and has an amazing blog (and magazine) where she creates and shares delicious gluten free treats like the ones listed below. Blog, Twitter, Facebook,
Tara (Gluten Free Hart) was unsymptomatic and was screened and diagnosed with coeliac disease only after her daughter was diagnosed as an infant. Her blog is full of recipes and daily life surviving as a coeliac. Blog, Facebook, Twitter
Romie & Lu are two silly sisters (their words not mine!!) who both have coeliac disease, a passion for food and share their gluten free journey through their cooking, recipes and stories Blog, Facebook
Be Well Gluten Free is a closed Facebook group moderated by Sally Marchini for people with coeliac disease and follow a gluten free diet. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with both coeliac disease and type 1 diabetes so has a wealth of advice and resources up her sleeve when it comes to coeliac disease and gluten free living.
